End Fed Half Wave (EFHW) antenna kit with SO239 QTH kit.
 
We have selected very efficient Fair-Rite cores for the HF bands offering exception performance on bands from 80m to 10m. These kits are rated at 100w SSB/25w Data and 400w SSB/100w Data.

The PCB is designed in the UK, finished in white. It has wide 3mm tracks on both sides of the PCB connecting all the components together. Making this kit easy to build.

IP rated ABS case
Choice of Fair-Rite core for the Transformer, see option details below
M5 & M3 fittings including bolts, nuts, wing nuts, solder tabs and wire crimp connectors
Cable ties
100pf 1kv or 3kv TDK capacitor (kit dependant)
Approx. 1.5m enamelled copper wire
SO239 connector

The cores selected for each version of the kit are.
400w kit, Fair-Rite 2643251002 mix 43.
100w kit, Fair-Rite 2643101902 mix 43.

Please read the notes below.
You will need to supply antenna wire and any compensation coil (if required) to complete a working antenna.

Please check your SWR before using the antenna to ensure you have a good match with your transceiver before use.

Lastly, we recommend you have a common mode choke at the transceiver side of your shack to eliminate and stray RFI and ideally .05l from the transformer.  These are optional, but can really help your antenna system.
